gpo-seminar-18.jpg I don’t believe it.

What took so long? First, the Library of Congress finally introduced RSS feeds. Now, to commemorate the Library’s 207th birthday, they have launched a blog as well. (Get outta town!)

What was the title of the first post? (No peeking!) Think Library of Congress, American history, national memory and famous first words. If you guessed “What hath God wrought?” then you are correct. Leave it to LC to link the beginning of its new endeavor with the first words ever transmitted electronically (via telegraph, of course).

The blog is authored by Matt Raymond, the Director of Communications at the Library.
