There’s a blog for librarians in Belarus that’s been in existence since 2005. I only stumbled upon it today here. I’ve already added it to my Bloglines account. I’m glad to see that there are librarians in Eastern Europe who are blogging about the profession. The blog can be read in either Belorussian or Russian. There’s also the possibility to translate blog posts into English (see the sidebar). This is a great way for Slavic librarians in this country to network with colleagues abroad, and I hope there will be more use of Web 2.0 tools to bring this community together.
